    自閉スペクトラム症(ASD)女性が月経前に体験する心身症状の変化と日常生活に及ぼす影響を当事者の語りから明らかにすることを目的に、月経前症候群(PMS)のスクリーニング尺度でPMSに該当したASD女性7名(30代前半～40代前半)を対象に半構成的面接を行った。内容分析の結果、ASD女性では月経前になると、一般女性とは異なる特有の感覚過敏の増悪を含む心身症状の変化を体験している者がおり、それらはASDの感覚特性同様、外見から分かりづらく、ASD女性の生きづらさにつながっていた。

    The purpose of this study was to determine the construction process of occupations for elderly persons with dementia who couldn’t explain their own meaningful occupations through language from an occupational science perspective. Data was collected using a fieldwork approach over one year at a long-term facility for dementia patients in Hokkaido, Japan. Data was analyzed using qualitative research methods focusing on the process for the emergence and transformation of occupations. During this study, actions or activities were found for some residents through active interaction with the environments within the facility. However, lack of occupational unity in those behaviors, resulting from intrinsic and extrinsic factors, brought difficulty to the process of constructing occupations.
