＜Key Points＞◎COX-2選択的阻害薬だけでなく従来の非選択的NSAIDsでも心・脳血管イベントの頻度が増加する。◎NSAIDsの心・脳血管イベントは、内皮細胞でのCOX-2由来のPGI2産生を抑制することに起因すると考えられている。◎COX-2阻害の程度により、NSAIDs間で心・脳血管イベントの発生リスクが異なる可能性がある。◎心・脳血管病患者におけるNSAIDs使用は、リスクとベネフィットを考慮したうえで決定すべきである。(著者抄録)
